Atlas builds vertical AI agents that automate accounts payable, reconciliation, and month-end close — a human-in-the-loop system that finance teams actually trust with the numbers.
Our thesis
Our thesis was that the moat in applied AI is proprietary workflow data and hard-won trust, not the model. Atlas owned an unglamorous, high-frequency workflow and turned every correction into training signal, compounding an advantage no horizontal tool could copy.
The outcome
Atlas grew from design partner to 140 paying customers in a year and processes over $4B in payables annually. We led the seed and took the first board seat.
