Overview
We led Meridian's pre-seed to back a banking platform built for founders the incumbents ignore.
The company
Meridian is an embedded banking and treasury platform for early-stage companies — the account, cards, and money movement that a startup outgrows a legacy bank for in its first year.
Our thesis
We wrote the first institutional check when Meridian was two ex-fintech engineers and a private beta. The wedge was clear: own the operating account early, then expand into credit, spend, and treasury as customers scale — a durable system of record in a regulated market.
The outcome
Meridian crossed $18M ARR nineteen months after our check and now serves more than 9,000 businesses. We led the pre-seed and doubled down in both the seed and Series A.
